Every great adventure starts with a moment — a diagnosis, a question, or a feeling that life might look a little different than you expected.
Adventures in Albinism was created to meet families, teachers, and people with albinism in that moment and walk beside them as they find their way from uncertainty to understanding, from overwhelm to connection.
We help parents regain their footing through mindful support, storytelling, and practical tools.
We help teachers feel confident and cared for in their classrooms.
And we help children and adults with albinism discover their own compass, the one that points toward confidence, connection, and belonging.
We believe that awareness is just the beginning and belonging is the goal.
When families feel supported and teachers feel equipped, children with albinism can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically, growing into confident, well-balanced adults.
Through mindfulness, community, and positive psychology, we turn everyday challenges into opportunities for growth, resilience, and authentic connection.
We’re building a world where difference is met with dignity, where well-being and education go hand in hand, and where no one has to navigate the journey of albinism alone.
Because this path isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence, progress, and pride.
Every step of the way, Adventures in Albinism is here, guiding the path forward.

You may only have one student with albinism in your class, but your classroom is that child’s world.
Inclusion begins with the people who show up every day. That´s our teachers and support staff who create spaces where children feel seen and capable.
The Teacher’s Compass offers resources, training, community, and reflective tools that nurture inclusive classrooms and the well-being of the educators themselves.
When teachers feel supported, they teach with more empathy, creativity, and confidence and every child benefits.
Together, we’re charting a new course for education: one where awareness leads to action, and every learner can thrive.
Every teacher deserves a space that understands both the heart and the craft of teaching.
Inside The Teacher’s Compass, you’ll find everything you need to feel grounded, informed, and supported on your journey toward inclusive education.

A mindful guide for families, educators, and individuals navigating life with albinism.
A lifelong learner in the worlds of mindfulness and education, I’m the founder of Adventures in Albinism and the creator of The Teacher’s Compass — two spaces dedicated to emotional well-being, inclusion, and connection.
I’ve lived this journey myself.
From being the child with albinism who felt misunderstood and excluded on the playground to becoming a confident, world-traveling educator and speaker, I understand what it means to walk from loneliness toward belonging.
Rooted in over twenty years of teaching experience, a decade of personal mindfulness practice and my own lived experience with albinism, my work brings together empathy, education, and evidence-based mindfulness tools.
Through Adventures in Albinism, I help families and individuals cultivate self-acceptance, balance, and connection.
Through The Teacher’s Compass, I support educators with practical strategies and compassionate community, so they can feel prepared, inspired, and supported in their classrooms.
At the heart of it all, my mission is simple: to help others move from overwhelm and doubt to clarity, confidence, and calm — and to remind each person along the way that hope and well-being aren’t distant ideals, but daily practices we can all learn to live.
